Over the last several years, Tor Hoerman has helped recover verdicts and settlements totaling nearly $200 million on behalf of thousands of clients in cases involving Gadolinium, OxyContin, Zyprexa, Bextra, Vioxx and Medtronic heart devices.* Tor leads pharmaceutical litigation teams against some of the world’s largest companies, deposing CEOs and other major corporate executives.

Tor began his career in one of the most prestigious plaintiff's personal injury firms in Chicago - Kralovec, Jambois & Schwartz. It was in the court rooms of Chicago that Tor developed a love for complex trial work and a passion for protecting the rights of victims.

As Tor became aware of the injustices occurring in the massive pharmaceutical industry where consumer safety often takes a back seat to profits, he moved to Madison County IL where he helped create and then lead the pharmaceutical litigation practice at SimmonsCooper LLC (now SimmonsFirm LLC), one of the nation's top asbestos law firms.

As founding member of TorHoerman Law LLC, Tor hopes to focus more exclusively on consumer safety and to utilize his experience to represent individuals catastrophically injured by the negligence of others. He is most proud of the exceptional personal attention each of his clients receives at TorHoerman Law LLC.

Personal Bio

Tor has three young and extremely active kids that happily occupy most of his "free time." However, he also makes time to play on a local baseball team and he attempts to golf from time to time. Tor is an avid Cubs fan, which makes living in St. Louis Cardinals territory challenging, to say the least.
