THL Sponsors Edwardsville Children’s Museum’s “A Night at the Races”

Dawn your fascinator and pick your horse- the Edwardsville Children’s Museum’s annual ‘A Night at the Races’ returns on May 5th. We at TorHoerman Law are proud to be a sponsor of the Edwardsville Children’s Museum’s annual ‘A Night at the Races’ because we firmly believe in giving back to the community that we live and work in.

What is the Edwardsville Children’s Museum?

For years the Edwardsville Children’s Museum has been a centerpiece of the metro-east community. The museum fosters exploration and discovery in children ages 12 and under by providing an exciting and enriching learning environment. With various educational and community programs, the Edwardsville Children’s Museum strives to encourage children to explore, learn, and grow.

“There are so many new and exciting projects happening at the Edwardsville Children’s Museum right now,” Lindley White, Executive Director of the Edwardsville Children’s Museum said. “We hope that everyone who loves the Edwardsville Children’s Museum and the programming we offer, will come to A Night at the Races and show their support.”

A Night at the Races will directly benefit the development of the Edwardsville Children’s Museum’s Discovery Garden, an outdoor classroom and play area that will allow children to connect with the great outdoors. The Discovery Garden is expected to break ground later this year.

What is ‘A Night at the Races’?

A Night at the Races is the largest annual fundraiser hosted by the Edwardsville Children’s Museum. Taking place at Fox Creek Golf Course, the event serves both as a viewing party and after party for the Kentucky Derby. Attendees come dressed ready for the races, and can even bet on a horse. After the race, the party continues with a live auction that boasts “something for everyone.” The evening will continue with dueling pianos by Mike and Cam and caricature drawings by St. Louis’s best caricature artist,  Haram.

Not only will there be plenty of entertainment, but attendees will also have access to unlimited appetizers provided by 1818 Chophouse, Big Daddy’s, Wang Gang Asian Eats, and Catrinas. Drinks will be flowing with unlimited beer and wine. Upgrade to the premium ticket to enjoy premium drinks and access to the Bourbon Bar.

A Night at the Races is Saturday, May 5th. Doors open at 4:00. Tickets are available for purchase online. If you are unable to attend Night at the Races, but would still like to contribute, visit their website.

Please join us in supporting a pillar of our community, the Edwardsville Children’s Museum.
