Meet Chelsey Logan: Paralegal by Day, Wedding Photographer by Night

News » Meet Chelsey Logan: Paralegal by Day, Wedding Photographer by Night

At TorHoerman Law, we’re more than a law firm – we are a family.

Each of our employees brings a different skill set to the table which allows our firm to run smoothly and effectively.

Ultimately, the varying knowledge and skills enable our team to put forth our best efforts to help our clients find justice.

Like any family, we support one another through the good and bad times, and for that, we are thankful for each member of our team.

In light of those relationships, we’d like to highlight just how wonderful each member of our family is through a new blog series titled “THL People Series.”

Once a month, a new employee will be highlighted because frankly, each of us has our own successes, our own tribulations, our own story that deserves to be heard.

First up is Chelsey Logan.

She’s a Paralegal at TorHoerman Law, but in her spare time, is a skilled wedding photographer.

She not only is excellent at both of her jobs but brings so much joy to this office.

Her bubbly, happy personality can brighten anyone’s day, and the pictures of her adorable dog and kitten aren’t a bad edition, either.

Q: Tell me about yourself.

A: I like to talk, learn, and be creative. Honestly, I think about food 24/7.

Q: What do you do at TorHoerman Law?

A: I am a paralegal.

On a day to day basis, I talk to clients, help draft documents, and order medical records.

Mostly, I deal with Tyler Schneider on a daily basis……

Q: What are your goals both professionally and personally?

A: Currently, I’m getting my bachelor’s degree in applied psychology.

Eventually, my long-term goal would to be a professor at a community college.

I’d love to teach paralegal studies.

Personally, I want to expand my business and become a successful wedding photographer.

Q: What do you enjoy about working at TorHoerman Law?

A: Honestly, we all get along very well and that makes for a great work environment.

Not only is it a great place to work in terms of people, but it’s also very relaxed.

I enjoy my job because I’m always busy and learning something new.

Q: What do you do in your spare time?

A: Mostly, I work….on my photography business.

On the weekends, I’m typically photographing weddings.

Beyond that, I enjoy spending time with my dog, Tank and new kitten, Boots, antique shopping with my husband, and decorating my house.

Q: Two truths and a lie.

A: I have seven siblings, I had a cat named Bob, and I was the captain of the basketball team in high school.

Can you figure out which one is the lie?

Q: What’s something most people don’t know about you?

A: I’ve been in seven plays! 8th grade was a big year for me because I landed the lead role in Susical Junior as the Cat in the Hat.

The best part was getting to wear these amazing red converse.

Luckily, I just bought a very similar pair and I’m so excited to wear them!

Q: So, how did you meet your husband?

A: Well I’ve known Tristan since 7th grade.

It’s actually a funny story because, in junior high, Tristan and my best friend dated.

But since it was a junior high romance, it didn’t work out.

We became best friends and started dating shortly after.

We got married at age 20 and have been married for three fun years. If you want to learn more about Chelsey Logan, visit her website at https://www.chelseyloganphotography.com/ or contact TorHoerman Law.
