ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO – Failure to yield was a contributing factor behind an injury collision that happened at  U.S. 61 and Highway W on Saturday.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash happened before 6 p.m. MSHP determined that a 67-year-old Moscow Hills man, driving a 2021 Chevrolet Equinox, failed to yield to a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban, leading to a crash between the two.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damage, and the 33-year-old male driver and his passenger, a 32-year-old woman, also from Troy, suffered minor injuries.
