Chad Finley focuses on representing clients who have been wronged by the tortious acts of others, including pharmaceutical and medical device cases, products liability, mass torts, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and whistleblower actions.
Chad began working as an attorney at TorHoerman Law in 2012 after an externship at the Office of the General Counsel, Health and Human Services, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Division (CMS) in Washington D.C. Chad represents clients in a variety of personal injury cases, which includes pharmaceutical and medical device cases, mass torts, products liability, and car accidents. Chad previously clerked for THL prior to leaving for CMS. While at CMS, Chad assisted the Office of the General Counsel with issues relating to their position on False Claims Act cases. Chad utilizes the experience he gained while working at CMS by representing whistleblowers in False Claims actions when government and/or insurance funds are stolen through fraud.
Chad has worked on many complex mass torts, including Actos and Pradaxa, which settled in excess of $3 billion. He takes pride in being the voice of the injured and their families in depositions and the courtroom.
Chad is passionate about the work that he does and is heavily involved in community service in St. Louis (even though he is an avid Cubs fan). Chad attended Wabash College, which is the rival school of Tor’s alma mater DePauw University. Chad is originally from a small town in Illinois, but attended St. Louis University School of Law and never left. He doesn’t prefer long walks on the beach (or beaches at all) but instead prefers to work all hours of the day and night analyzing documents and data.
