WASHINGTON, MO – A 78-year-old woman was killed in an SUV-van collision in Washington on Tuesday, FirstAlert4 said.
Washington Police said the incident happened before 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of MO 100 & South Point Road. Police said the 78-year-old woman, driving an SUV and traveling west, turned left from MO 100 onto South Point Road when she collided with an eastbound van.
EMS rushed the 78-year-old woman to a hospital where she later died.
Police did not specify whether they cited the van driver, a 36-year-old man.
A full investigation is underway.
