PERRYVILLE, MO – Four people, including three pedestrians, were injured in a three-vehicle crash in Perryville on Thursday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the incident happened before 6:45 p.m. on Interstate 55, south of milepost 131. MSHP said that a 55-year-old man from Edinburg, Texas, was operating a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia when he drifted left off a northbound lane and crashed into the right side of a 2011 Honda Civic.
The Honda Civic veered to the left side of the road and crashed into the right side of a 2014 Ford Focus.
The Ford Focus was pushed into two pedestrians, the crash report reveals. However, the report reveals that a total of three pedestrians were injured. They were identified as two 41-year-old men from Troy and a 44-year-old woman from St. Charles.
Mercy Ambulance transported the two men from Troy and the truck driver to Mercy Hospital Perry for treatment of moderate injuries.
The 44-year-old woman sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment at the scene.
