FARMINGTON, MO – An 87-year-old woman was killed in a vehicle-pedestrian collision in Farmington on Wednesday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 7 p.m. on MO 32, east of Michigan Street. MSHP said the 87-year-old woman was crossing the road when she was struck by a 2021 Chevrolet Spark hatchback.
Sadly, the woman, a Farmington local, died from her injuries at the scene.
The driver was identified as a 28-year-old man from Park Hills. It’s not immediately clear whether he was cited for his involvement in the crash.
