ST. LOUIS, MO – A 26-year-old man was taken to the hospital after a rear-end crash that happened near the St. Louis International Airport on Monday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Interstate 270 North along McDonnell Boulevard. MSHP said an 18-year-old man lost control of his 2025 Hyundai Kona, went off to the left side of the road, and crashed into a wall.
The Hyundai Kona was pushed forward and crashed into the back of a 2013 Honda Accord.
The Honda driver, the 26-year-old man, local to St. Louis, sustained minor injuries.
The 18-year-old man, from St. Ann, was uninjured.
Hazelwood EMS transported the St. Louis local to SSM Health DePaul Hospital for treatment.
