Our Team

After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma, Eric received his Juris Doctorate from DePaul University College of Law.

Eric joined TorHoerman Law in 2019, working in our Chicago office alongside Jacob Plattenberger and Alan Holcomb as part of our trial team.

For six years, he focused on complex, nationwide litigation – representing clients injured by the actions of large corporations and organizations.

These cases include:

• Pharmaceutical;
• Products Liability; and
• Toxic Exposure.

In 2025, Eric relocated to our main office in Edwardsville, where he continues his trial team work while expanding his role in our single event / personal injury practice – taking on cases including:

• Industrial Accidents;
• Motor Vehicle Accidents;
• Negligent Security;
• Premises Liability;
• Sports-Related Concussions;
• Trucking Accidents; and
• Wrongful Death.

• Acetaminophen (ASD/ADHD) – Products Liability Litigation, MDL Case No. 3043. Appointed to the Plaintiff’s Steering Committee by Judge Denise Cote in the MDL.
• Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) – Products Liability Litigation, MDL Case No. 2873. Eric co-leads all AFFF litigation for TorHoerman Law, LLC, representing numerous inviduals who were exposed to aqueous film-forming foam during the course of their employment and now suffer from a serious injuries (including cancer).
• Diacetyl (Popcorn Lung) – Eric co-leads in all Diacetyl litigation for TorHoerman Law, representing dozens of former/current workers across the United States who were exposed to Diacetyl in the course of their employment and now suffer from lung disease.
• Sports-Related Concussions (CTE) – Eric leads all sports-related concussion litigation for TorHoerman Law, including representing the family of a former Olympian who tragically lost his life as a result of his suffering from CTE.
• Diacetyl (Popcorn Lung) – $4,400,000.00 verdict on behalf of three injured workers.
• Diacetyl (Popcorn Lung) – Secured a Plaintiffs’ verdict in a remand trial on statute of limitations, preserving the $4,400,000.00 jury award.
• Diacetyl (Popcorn Lung) – $2,000,000.00 verdict on behalf of two injured workers.
• Has been involved in numerous other settlements involving various Personal Injuries.
