FARMINGTON, MO – Two drivers were injured in a car-pickup truck collision outside Monahan Lake on Wednesday.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 32 and Crowley Lane.
MSHP said a 45-year-old woman, driving a 2017 Kia Cadenza, turned from Highway 32 onto Crowley Lane when her car was struck by a 2014 Ford F150 pickup truck attempting to pass her.
The Kia was totaled, and the pickup truck was left with moderate damage. The 45-year-old female driver, from Bismarck, and the pickup truck driver, a 66-year-old man from Perryville, did not wear seatbelts and suffered minor injuries.
St. Francois County Ambulance transported the two drivers, the sole occupants of their vehicles, to Parkland Health Center – Farmington.
