ST. LOUIS, MO – A 47-year-old woman from Ballwin was injured in a rear-end crash that happened on Interstate 70 East, east of Taylor Avenue on Monday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the collision took place before 7:45 a.m. amid traffic congestion. Preliminary details show that a 28-year-old woman driving a 2026 Dodge Durango was traveling too closely behind a Chevrolet Equinox and rear-ended it.
The Chevrolet driver, the Ballwin woman, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Barnes-Jewish Hospital – St. Louis by St. Louis Fire/EMS.
The 28-year-old woman, from Weldon Spring, was uninjured.
